Jacksonville Jaguars unhappy with rookie wide receivers
By Bryan Rose
Apparently grabbing two scores during the Jacksonville Jaguars’ opening week wasn’t enough for Allen Hurns as he and the rest of the rookie wide receivers are not pleasing the coaching staff.

Now losers of two straight, much of it thanks to poor offensive play, the Jacksonville Jaguars are reeling and head coach Gus Bradley is directing blame at his group of rookies, namely Hurns, Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson.
“Are we asking too much. Is there too much in the game plan?” Bradley said. “Or, in turn, do they need to be held accountable for what we’re asking them to do and they need to feel a stronger sense of accountability? It’s a young group, but that’s no excuse. We’re all in the NFL now. The demands we place on them, they have to be able to handle that.”
While they’re certainly to blame, it’s by no stretch all their fault. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offensive line has been woeful which hasn’t helped quarterback Chad Henne. In turn, that has made life difficult for the offensive weapons who’ve struggled just the rest of the roster.
Given that, it seems a bit over the top for Bradley to single out a select group of players when in all honesty, the losing and poor play has been a team wide effort. Yes, they certainly need to play better, but they’re not going to be able to do so until the line protects the quarterback and he can set his feet.
