The Jameis Winston suspension that was increased to a full game by the Florida State Seminoles late Friday night has been a hot topic of conversation on the pre-game and countdown shows.

While everyone is sharing their thoughts on Winston and what his absence could mean when the top-ranked Seminoles face the No. 22 Clemson Tigers in prime time, a former Heisman Trophy winner has sounded off on the issues and the responsibility that Winston has to his teammates as a leader.

Enter Tim Tebow.

Tebow spoke on Winston and how he can improve.

While Tebow has become someone who is often mocked, he actually shared some wisdom and said that Winston has so many attributes that can be used for good or bad that it will all come down to who he surrounds himself with and who comes to support him.

Tebow said:

"“What was said just isn’t okay. My hope and my prayer for Jameis is that he can find wise counsel, and that he can find people who will invest in him and invest in his life so that he can have something more to live for than just the moment. Because when you live for the moment, the moment will always let you down with silly situations like he’s been in in the past. This kid has so many attributes that can be used for positive things. His leadership – whether he leads people in a good direction or a bad direction. He’s a big time leader. His infection personality; people rally around him. That can be used for good things or bad things.“My hope and prayer is that people will come around to support him … There are a lot of kids looking up to him and I hope that he can see that and understand that. These kids are going to watch him and follow him and it’s his responsibility to lead them in a right direction. “"

It’s not something you would expect to hear, but Tebow hit that one right on the money.
