Peyton Manning hits Jacob Tamme for late touchdown, Broncos tie it up (GIF)

The Denver Broncos faced an impossible situation as their week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks wound down to the final minutes. A Seattle field goal left the Broncos with less than a minute to drive the length of the field, needing a touchdown and a two-point conversion to make up a 20-12 deficit.

It seems impossible to believe that the Broncos could pull that off on the road against the Seahawks. It seems even more impossible to believe that Peyton Manning and company would overcome that deficit by hitting the third-string tight end for the touchdown.
That’s sports for you. Manning hit Jacob Tamme for a 26-yard touchdown to give the Broncos a chance to tie it up.
Tamme was called on in this game after Virgil Green was forced out of action with a concussion. Tamme’s relationship with Manning dates back to their days in Indianapolis, and it looks like that familiarity came through in a huge spot on Sunday.
