The Michigan Wolverines are not in a good place right now, as head coach Brady Hoke is trying to answer questions about his job a day after the team lost to the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Ann Arbor. That’s just not something that is supposed to happen, but it did and now Hoke’s job may be on the line.

There were already fans calling for his job before the Minnesota game and now that the Wolverines were blown out by Jerry Kill’s squad those calls are literally becoming chants at football games. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, one name to keep an eye on in Ann Arbor when it comes to replacing Hoke is Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

This isn’t a new notion though, as Gil Bradnt tweeted out earlier this week that the elder John Harbaugh to the younger Jim, which is a bit of a surprise to some watching the situation.

With Hoke on the hot seat, the logical choice to replace him would be the fiery former Wolverines quarterback who has had success both in college and in the pros but Michigan seems to be after the smoother John Harbaugh. Jim can be abrasive at times, but he has alerady proven he can make that work in college.

John Harbaugh is a little less proven, but it’s clear that the next head coach of the Michigan Wolverines is more than likely to be a Harbaugh brother.
