1. Jim Harbaugh- San Fransisco 49ers

After the 2010 season, Michigan fired Rich Rodriguez after another terrible season and all signs pointed to Stanford head coach and former Michigan quarterback Jim Harbaugh to take over for the Wolverines. But, Harbuagh was then scooped up by the NFL and Michigan had to look elsewhere.

Harbuagh has now coached for the San Fransisco 49ers for three seasons and begun a fourth. In 2011, he improved the 49ers right away taking them to a 13-3 season after a 6-10 season in 2010. They lost in the conference championship to the Giants who went on to win the Super Bowl. In Harbaugh’s second year, he took the 49ers to a Super Bowl, where he lost to his brother John’s Baltimore Ravens. With the emergence of the Seattle Seahawks in 2013, the 49ers finished 12-4 and second in the NFC West and losing in the conference championship once again.

Jim Harbaugh was very successful for the Stanford Cardinal in the NCAA and he’ll be a big get if anyone can get him after this season. It’s starting to look for likely that he could leave the 49ers and the NFL after reports from NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders surfaced that said the 49ers players want Harbaugh out. They started their season 1-2 but were able to get a key win over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.

Michigan will definitely be giving Jim Harbaugh a call, we’ll see if he reconsiders this time around.
