Apparently the San Fransisco 49ers aren’t happy with their loud-mouth, intense head coach Jim Harbaugh according to NFL Network’s Deion Sanders, who played for the 49ers as one of the best cornerbacks in NFL history.

Despite a 26-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, making the team 2-2, Sanders sounded off saying that the players still want Harbaugh out.

"“They want him out. They’re not on the same page. I really want to know if they’re really playing for the head coach. I got a question with that. Are you really down with your head coach, San Francisco 49ers? Because the way it looks and what I’m hearing, you’re really not down for your head coach. And that’s a problem. They really got some problems that we hear rumblings. We all know people inside locker rooms.”"

This report by Deion Sanders correlates with one made by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport Sunday morning:

"“The same thing I was hearing last year is the same thing I was hearing as the season was starting — the same thing I’m hearing now,” Rapoport told NFL Media’s Rich Eisen. “And some of it is from losing, but I’m told especially the veterans are grumbling already about Jim Harbaugh, and the voices are getting louder and louder.”"

While we obviously don’t know the players that want Harbaugh out, Sanders and Rapoport make it sound like a consensus. If this is true and the San Fransisco 49ers end up missing the playoffs this year, you may see Harbaugh out.

Harbaugh has some good options in college football that would want him right off the bat. This of course includes the University of Michigan who begged for Harbaugh out of Stanford, but the former Michigan quarterback decided to go to San Fransisco instead. Brady Hoke is leading a terrible Michigan football team right now and he’s absolutely done after the season if he even makes it that far.

A less glamorous option is Kansas, but after Charlie Weis’ firing after Saturday’s loss, the Jayhawks would be willing to throw down big money for Harbuagh and try to return to the team they were in 2007 when they went to the Orange Bowl.

Harbaugh needs to calm his players down and get them back on his side if the team has any chance at success this season. We’ll see if the 49ers can start winning some games.
