Here are the picks for the noon kickoffs today. The afternoon picks will be up before noon eastern.
Florida at Tennessee(-2.5): This is the week that Tennessee breaks through and gets an actual victory instead of a moral victory. Driskel and the Florida offense is a train wreck right now. Give me the Vols.
(6)Texas A&M at (12)Mississippi State(-2.5): This line opened with the Aggies favored. Apparently there are a lot of believers in the Bulldogs this year. I just believe that A&M’s defense will cost them at least one game. This is one of them. Give me Mississippi State.
SMU at (22)East Carolina(-41.5): Ouch. Assuming that SMU scored in single digits, the Pirates still need 50 on offense to cover this. Well, considering they put up 70 on the Tarheels, it is entirely possible. Give me ECU.
Iowa State at (21)Oklahoma State(-17.5): I don’t like the half, especially since the Cyclones have played everyone close, even Baylor to some extent. I have to go with the Cyclones.
Purdue at Illinois(-9.5): Lunt is back, which is bad news for the Boilermakers. Give me Illinois.
Marshall(-18.5) at Old Dominion: The Monarch defense has not looked very good at all. Cato should run wild. Give me Marshall.
Southern Mississippi at Middle Tennessee State(-17.5): This seems high. I know the Blue Raiders have been good this year, but Southern Miss isn’t as bad as last year, are they? Considering they lost to Rice by this much at home, probably. Give me MTSU.
(20)Ohio State(-7.5) at Maryland: The Terrapins have been very good this year, and this promises to be another high scoring game with the way both of these offenses are chugging along. Give me Maryland at home, straight up!
Ball State at Army(-2.5): This line opened with the Cardinals favored, and should have stayed there. Both of these teams have losses to 1-AA teams, but Ball State almost beat Iowa in Iowa City. Give me the David Letterman U.
Virginia Tech(-2.5) at North Carolina: WAY too low. Give me VT for my lock of the early games!
Eastern Michigan at Akron(-25.5): Wow, that’s a high line. Akron looked good last week against Pitt, but can their offense score four touchdowns? Against this defense, probably. Give me the Zips.
North Texas at Indiana(-12.5): The Hoosiers aren’t as bad as Maryland made them look. Give me Indiana.
Massachusetts at Miami(OH)(-3.5): UMass has been better this year, but are they enough better to win on the road. Hey, they almost did at Vanderbilt. Give me UMass.
Tulsa at Colorado State(-17.5): The Rams have collected two Power Five scalps this year. I think the Rams cover at home.
