The bruising tailback has already set a new program record for all-purpose yards in a game and set new career-highs in rushing twice already this season.
On Saturday we saw the 230-pound running back show off his throwing arm as he threw a 50-yard strike to true freshman tight end Jeb Blazevich, which was the longest passing play of the season for Georgia.
Behind thelegs and the arm of Gurley, Georgia owns a 27-7 lead over the Vanderbilt Commodores at the half. Gurley has 73 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and two receptions for 24 yards in addition to the 50-yard pass that showed he’s a better passer than Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel.
