The new-look Cavs tipped off their NBA season at home against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the team’s first preseason game, giving us all a look at LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving together on one team.
On the first play of the game, LeBron James drained a long-three pointer.
It’s only preseason, and certainly his regular-season debut against, you know, an actual NBA team will come with a lot more fanfare. But the Cavs already have a different feeling around them and the team looks confident.
As you can tell on this first play, the ball movement is awkward and the chemistry is not quite there, but LeBron James has been through this before. It’ll take time, but this team will be fun to watch the entire way.
