It’s been a few weeks since ESPN decided to suspend popular writer/personality Bill Simmons for unflattering comments directed towards NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

In fairness to the World Wide Leader, Bill Simmons was all but requesting ESPN suspend him though few have found much issue with his comments given the truthful nature of such. Still, despite Simmons’ near request, reports have suggested he’s very unhappy with the sports broadcaster and could be looking to leave the network.
Such reports have yet to be confirmed though it appears as if Bill Simmons is certainly having fun trolling ESPN on social media.
The head of Grantland is an active presence on photo sharing site Instagram, though very rarely posts anything related to himself. That was until ESPN suspended Simmons, who has posted five pictures in October, all of which show Simmons enjoying his time off. His most recent? Getting a pedicure.
In addition Bill Simmons has also posted multiple photos of him golfing, smugly smiling at the camera. There are no captions on his pictures though it seems to be a rather obvious troll job considering he’s trying to show how great of a time he’s having while off work.
Simmons was handed a three-week suspension so he still has a few more days to enjoy his time off, though given his subtle shot, you have to wonder if he’ll actually be retuning on schedule as it seems there is growing animosity.
Regardless, the most famed ‘blogger’ in the sports world seems to have perfected the art of trolling.
