With Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine, two high-flying rookies with athleticism literally (okay not literally) oozing out of their ears, the Minnesota Timberwolves are guaranteed to be fun to watch. Maybe not good, but at least fun.
Oh, and don’t forget Ricky Rubio is still their to throw up the lobs for these guys! We got a sneak peak of this sort of thing in the preseason.

In the first clip, we see LaVine go up behind the defense for an uncontested ally oop. On the next clip, we get the first of what’s-sure-to-be-many oops from Rubio to Wiggins. Wiggins basically Super Mario double jumps his way to the dunk.
Kevin Love isn’t there, but getting Wiggins in return is one of the best returns an NBA team has gotten for all All-Star forcing his way out of town.
Is Minnesota about to become the NBA’s second “lob city”? It’s quite possible. Except it would be the “lob state.” For those of you who spent $200 on NBA League Pass this season, you should probably check out some Timberwolves games this season to make sure you get your money’s worth.
