The Cleveland Browns still have one of the most talked about players in the NFL on their roster, even though he isn’t starting yet. Johnny Manziel is the talk of Cleveland, which is saying a lot considering it was Brian Hoyer who led the team back against the Tennessee Titans this past weekend.

But don’t think for a minute that not starting has hurt Manziel’s jersey sales. While his numbers have no doubt taken a dip, the rookie built up enough momentum between the NFL Draft and now to remain the top selling rookie of the season.
Despite not starting, the DICK’s Jersey Report notes that Manziel was still the top selling rookie of the week.

This isn’t really all that surprising though, as Manziel’s jersey sales were through the roof when he was selected by the Cleveland Browns back in May and they’ve held firm ever since. He may get overthrown this season, especially if he doesn’t ever start, but he seems to still have a solid lead.
Manziel fell back in the overall rankings for jersey sales, but he only dropped to No. 14, which again is amazing considering he’s played less than a minute worth of football this regular season.
