New England Patriots (-2) over Buffalo Bills

I believe that the Week 5 version of the New England Patriots is the “real” version, and as such, they should be more than a 2-point favorite over the Bills, regardless of where the game is being played. New England actually blocked for Tom Brady in their dominant win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week, and it was a highly encouraging performance from the entire offense, highlighted by Sebastian Vollmer and Nate Solder at the tackle spots.

In addition to that, though, the Patriots boast one of the more talented defenses in the NFL, and the Kyle Orton experience should be on full display on Sunday afternoon. Orton likely won’t “lose” the game for Buffalo with high-impact turnovers or bad game management, but he certainly isn’t going to win any sort of offensive duel against Tom Brady, and the Bills (namely, CJ Spiller) have actually struggled in the running game in recent days.

This is a very “public” side, but with the Patriots laying less than a field goal, they are the right side regardless.
