Drew Brees escaped massive pressure from the San Francisco 49ers and threw a magician-like touchdown to New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham.

The New Orleans Saints knew they’d have a tough task when the San Francisco 49ers came to town this week though they’ve continued to battle and put themselves in position for a win.

Much of that is due to quarterback Drew Brees who, despite two poor decisions resulting in interceptions, has threaded the needled on more than one occasion to keep the score tight. None of his passes were more impressive than his magician touchdown pass to tight end Jimmy Graham however.

Facing a make-or-break third and six, Brees snapped the ball though was immediately dealing with a San Francisco 49ers pass rush. It looked as if the Saints would be held to a field goal though Brees, channeling his inner-Houdini somehow escaped the 49ers defenders and was left completely alone to float a pass to the Pro Bowl tight end.

After Drew Brees escaped the pressure there simply wasn’t anything the San Francisco 49ers could do as you likely noticed how mismatched they were against Graham who towered over his defender.

The touchdown pass was Drew Brees’ second on the day though he’ll likely have a difficult time making any additional passes look as good as that.

Somebody might want to check the signal caller to see if he has some Vaseline on his uniform because the 49ers whiffing that bad was pretty embarrassing.
