A retired Navy veteran performed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem on Monday Night Football just hours before Veteran’s Day is observed.

While ESPN has been disappointed with the vast majority of their Monday Night Football broadcasts this season given the absurd amount of blowouts, the same can’t be said for the pre-game National Anthem.

For a few weeks running, whomever has sung the National Anthem has done a beautiful job and last night was no different as retired Navy petty officer Generald Wilson had Lincoln Financial Field in awe thanks to his powerful pipes.

Just moments before the Philadelphia Eagles were set to host the Carolina Panthers, Wilson made his way to the field, cleared his throat and unleashed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

Now you probably watched that thinking not only did Generald Wilson look familiar but he also sounded familiar as well. That’s because the retired Navy officer also performed the National Anthem during the MLB Playoffs and World Series as well.

Hopefully this isn’t the last we see of Wilson as the dude has crazy talent.

Maybe he’ll get lucky and a CEO of a major record company was watching the Monday Night Football with a recording contract in hand. Except Diddy of course. I don’t want to see Mr. Wilson singing backup for the Bad Boy CEO while having to wear a shiny suit as Diddy yells “take that, take that”.

In all seriousness, thank you for your service Mr. Wilson and all those who are serving or have served.
