Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel has seen his jersey sales dip to an all-time low, according to Jersey Report, who have been keeping track of jersey sales at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online.

Manziel’s popularity in college followed him into the NFL and his jersey sales have been amongst the best in the league since May, but recently dropped to No. 22 on the overall list of most popular jerseys. It could be in part because of the Browns’ success with him on the bench, more people could be getting behind quarterback Brian Hoyer as he has the team contending for an AFC North title and a playoff spot.

Manziel benefits from national appeal with jersey sales coming in from all over. It should be no surprise that some of his sales, or a good portion come from the Texas area. He also has some sales in the New England and north Atlantic area which is rather odd. Of course a majority of Manziel’s jersey sales come from the midwest and Ohio area.
