Members of the Ohio State Basketball team recently received one amazing Christmas gift from LeBron James.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has never really made it a secret that he’s a huge fan of Ohio State athletics. Being from Akron, it’s really no surprise that James is a huge fan of everything Buckeyes.

Well now that he’s back in the state of Ohio, he’s making sure that the school is taken care of, especially the basketball team.

Oh, did he ever take care of Thad Matta’s crew too, recently.

How’s this for an early Christmas present? LeBron recently sent the members of the Ohio State basketball team pairs of the fresh new LeBron 12s, which go for about $200 a pop.


Now this is where it certainly pays off to have the biggest NBA star on the planet be a staunch supporter of your athletic programs. You walk into practice one day and there’s a nice new pair of kicks for ya from the King himself.

Also, this is a pretty good recruiting tool that can be used by Matta and the coaching staff. Come to Columbus and you’ll be taken care of in the shoe department by none other than LeBron James himself.
