By Hayden Kane
New England Patriots‘ running back Jonas Gray overslept and was late to practice because his cell phone died, or so he says. The tech company ‘Mophie’ offered to help Gray out with that problem.
If you have ever overslept because your cell phone died and that was your alarm clock, well, you might have something in common with real life NFL running back Jonas Gray.

On a related note, if you have ever lied about your cell phone dying as the reason you overslept and were late to work or class, you may or may not have something in common with Jonas Gray. We will never know for sure.
Either way, the tech company ‘Mophie’ seized the news about Jonas Gray this week and recognized an opportunity. Gray might be in the doghouse with head coach Bill Belichick, but hey, maybe he will get a cool new charger out of the deal.

To be an NFL running back, man. Shoplift underwear and cologne, land an endorsement deal with an underwear company. Sleep through your alarm and get sent home for being late to practice, get cool stuff like a “power station” from Mophie.
Maybe a deal from Mophie will make Gray feel better when he is watching teacher’s pet LeGarrette Blount taking his playing time for the rest of the season.
