Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden made a beautiful catch during a pregame warmup.

Sure, making catches during a pregame warmup might be considered football’s version of hitting home run’s during batting practice. But this particular catch by Joe Haden of the Cleveland Browns doesn’t appear to fall into that category.

While ESPN was giving a live report regarding the status of Josh Gordon who was returning to the Browns after his ten-game suspension came to a conclusion, All-Pro defensive back Joe Haden was on the field getting his work in.

Haden could be seen moving in and out of the camera frame during Lindsay Czarniack’s report for ESPN, but towards the end of her commentary Haden had jaws dropping with what he was able to accomplish.

The Pro Bowl cornerback emerged into the view of the camera, leaped high into the air and with one hand extended grabbed the pigskin with relative ease. Yes, he did have gloves on which helped assist him in holding onto the ball but that was a damn impressive catch for any player, let alone one who spends his time on defense.

Joe Haden isn’t exactly the tallest guy in the world and the fact that his momentum was taking him away from the ball as he came in makes this a pretty damn impressive grab. Have we seen better? Yes. But that shouldn’t take away from what Joe Haden was able to do.

Apparently the catch helped out his play as well as he also came away with an interception in the Cleveland Browns game, his second in as many weeks.
