As a professional athlete, you find comfort in the plush first-class seat of an airplane after a tough game. Often you end up falling asleep in the comfortable chair, though it’s been said that sleep is the cousin of death.

It’s also apparently a close relative of photobombing as countless times we’ve seen players destroy a sleeping teammate with a photobomb.

Tuesday night was no different as Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer of the Los Angeles Lakers decided to have some fun with rookie point guard Jordan Clarkson.

Creeping up behind Clarkson, who was apparently sawing logs, Lin with headphones wrapped around his neck gave a open-mouthed expressed while Boozer scrunched his face in the hilarious photo.

Assuming Clarkson was indeed sleeping, as thought, somebody else had to assist in taking the photo of the one-eyed point guard who somewhat resembled a strange version of a cyclops. For what it’s worth, the caption on the photo which was originally posted to Jeremy Lin’s Instagram does indeed say that Jordan Clarkson was sleeping so it wasn’t the rookie point who snapped the photo despite the vantage point looking like that may have been the case.

It’s certainly not as funny as Jeremy Lin posterizing members of his family like his mother and sister with Nerf ball dunks, but it’s still rather amusing.

Nice to see the Lakers having a good time finally considering they’ve won two games in a row, the longest such streak of the season for Los Angeles.
