Indianapolis Colts’ Andrew Luck Takes Shot To Helmet (Video)
By Phil Watson
The Indianapolis Colts have given up two defensive touchdowns to the Cleveland Browns Sunday and Andrew Luck is even taking hits when things go well.
Paul Kruger of the Cleveland Browns thought he had ended an Indianapolis Colts drive when he sacked quarterback Andrew Luck for a 10-yard loss on a third-and-10 from the Browns’ 47-yard line.
But Kruger committed the modern-day cardinal sin … hitting a quarterback above the waist with his helmet.
So instead of fourth-and-20, the Colts had a new set of downs at the Cleveland 32. Four plays later Adam Vinatieri booted a 51-yard field goal to get Indianapolis back to within 21-10 in the middle of the third quarter.

Luck is having an awful day in Cleveland. With the third quarter inside of six minutes to go, Luck is just 12-for-30 for 118 yards. He’s thrown a pick six to rookie Justin Gilbert of the Browns and had a fumble recovered in the end zone by Craig Robertson for another score.
The passing game in this game in general looks as if the teams have been transported to another era—Cleveland’s Brian Hoyer was 8-for-19 for just 99 yards and has thrown an interception.
But to this point, there have been no Johnny Football sightings just yet.
It’s been a disappointing day for the Colts, who came into the day with a chance to clinch the AFC South title with a win and a loss by the Houston Texans to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.
