College Football Results Against The Spread Week 15

At first glance, I don’t think that I finished the season very strongly. This week would fit right in with the rest of the season then….

Here are my picks, just in case you missed them.

Winners against the spread are in BOLD.

Central Florida at East Carolina(-6.5): MISS! What a comeback by UCF! Seeing that almost made missing the point worthwhile. Almost.

Northern Illinois(-6.5) vs. Bowling Green: HIT! This wasn’t even a game, that doesn’t surprise me at all.

Arizona vs. Oregon(-14.5): MISS! The Ducks made their statement loud and clear.

Louisiana Tech at Marshall(-11.5): HIT! Marshall wasn’t up to the task once their ten cupcakes were out of the way.

Houston at Cincinnati(-7.5): MISS! I shouldn’t have given that half….

SMU at Connecticut(-11.5): MISS! I knew better, but I also never dreamed SMU would win outright. I deserve this miss.

Iowa State at TCU(-33.5): HIT! What kind of message is that sending if the number three team wins by 52, and still drops three spots? I guess they shouldn’t have let off the gas in the second half.

Oklahoma State at Oklahoma(-20.5): MISS! Hopefully that teaches them to just sit on the ball and play defense when the defense sucks. Nothing like blowing a 14 point lead to a rival at home in less than five minutes and two plays. Yes, I’m still bitter. Not at OSU, but at the Chokelahoma coaches.

Alabama(-14.5) vs. Missouri: HIT! This shouldn’t have surprised anyone.

Temple(-3.5) at Tulane: HIT! I was wrong. Tulane actually scored three points.

Kansas State at Baylor(-8.5): HIT! The Bears did all they could, and it still wasn’t enough.

Florida State(-3.5) vs. Georgia Tech: HIT! I never got the feeling that GT was going to win this game, but how exactly did this move FSU up a slot??

Wisconsin(-3.5) vs Ohio State: MISS! The Ohio State defense was lights out, and right or wrong, cost Melvin Gordon the Heisman. You can also add Ezekiel Elliott to the list of superb backs in the Big Ten (14).

Fresno State at Boise State(-21.5): MISS! The Fresno defense played probably their best game of the year, but the Bulldogs were still never really in it.

I went 7-7 on the week. .500 is not bad, but it obviously doesn’t help me in the overall standings. That puts me at 306-352 on the season, which means I have officially clinched a sub-.500 season.

Since there is only one game this week, I will put my prediction in here:

Army vs. Navy(-14.5) at Baltimore: I know this is a rivalry game, but Navy is by far the better team. Give me Navy.
