Not only is Foot Locker known for selling some of the best sneakers available, they also have a fantastic marketing company who producers some amazing commercials.
Their most recent offering is no different as if features former NBA player Tracy McGrady and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.
McGrady, who recently suggested that he’d like to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, is seen speaking with the Trail Blazers All-Star and refernces how young he feels. He continues on while a dismayed Damian Lillard looks on before T-Mac stats he’s now a “rookie” considering he plays in China.
That’s where things take a rather humorous turn involving the “rookie” Tracy McGrady:
No, it’s not as funny as some of the past Foot Locker commercials we’ve seen, but it’s still pretty good. Also nice to see T-Mac poking fun at himself, especially considering he wants to get back into the NBA.
Hopefully this spot will take off and Foot Locker decides to bring back both Tracy McGrady and Damian Lillard for a multi-commercial run as they could really produce some gems with this storyline and both players who like to have fun on camera.
