Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon thinks it is crazy to suggest he hasn’t been giving his full effort.

The Cleveland Browns are making a change at quarterback, electing to start rookie Johnny Manziel instead of Brian Hoyer, who has led them to a winning record for most of the season. The Browns should be hitting their stride with the return of wide receiver Josh Gordon from a 10-game suspension.
Gordon has been ineffective so far, catching just two passes for 15 yards in a loss to the Colts most recently, and it has created some conspiracies that Gordon purposely played poorly to get Manziel into the game.
Gordon calls those conspiracies “crazy.”
“There’s no reason why I would even think or do something like that,” Gordon said, via ESPN.com. “It’s like trying to throw a game on purpose. Nobody wants to do that, if you like a guy or don’t like a guy. I love Brian. He’s been here since I first got here just about. He was my quarterback last year. He’s a competitor. Nothing wrong with him. I’ve never even played with Johnny. That’s crazy to think that.”
Gordon has admitted in the past to running the incorrect routes as he attempts to learn the playbook and get up to speed with the new offense. After all, this isn’t the Browns team he left with new coaches and new coordinators.
