According to reports, the Thunder are interested in Wilson Chandler.
Despite having Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook back from injury, it looks like the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to add additional help as Chris Mannix of SI reports the Thunder have inquired on Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler.
"Teams continue to look at Denver as an appealing trade partner. While the Cavs have been trying to extract Timofey Mozgov, league sources say the Thunder have inquired about the availability of Wilson Chandler."
Wilson Chandler is one of those players who seem to be included in trade rumors every season, but the plug is never pulled by Denver. Because of Danilo Gallinari’s injury last season, it made since to keep Chandler in the fold, but with Gallo back and the addition of Arron Afflalo this summer via trade, Chandler now becomes the expendable piece of this group.

On the Thunder, Chandler would be an interesting fit, filling into the role the Thunder brass assumed Perry Jones III could fill. As a combo forward, Chandler could play both behind Durant to spare the reigning MVP minutes, especially early in his return from injury, and aside him as a small-ball four.
It’s unclear what the Nuggets would want for Chandler, but if they’re interested in Kendrick Perkins’ $9 million expiring salary that could work, though it’d take some other moving parts to work financially. Perry Jones III would also likely be available for trade if the Thunder want to bring in Chandler.
This season, Chandler is averaging 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
