There are always entertaining videos to watch of athletes making mistakes and looking clumsy on the court, but there are some that are better than others. It isn’t cool to laugh at someone’s pain, but if they’re just fine afterwards it’s something that people do anyways.
D.J. Harvey is a High School basketball player in Washington D.C., and he displayed some crazy athleticism in a recent game. He is part of the class of 2017, and showed that he can get up and block shots with ease. Unfortunately, he got up a little too high on one shot block attempt and ended up smacking his head against the backboard.
Take a look at Harvey hitting his head on the backboard for yourself:
Obviously this kid has some gifted athletic ability and he is a player to keep an eye on in the future. Anyone that has that type of vertical can find a place in the game if he can polish the other areas of his game. This was a bit funny, but it also called to attention just how athletic Harvey is as well.
