The Minnesota Timberwolves are shopping veteran forward Corey Brewer around the NBA once again.

Corey Brewer is a solid veteran wing player, and he has been shopped around quite a bit this season already by the Minnesota Timberwolves. They stopped shopping him for a few weeks, but he is back on the block and is available for trade. He has garnered some trade interest already this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see something start materializing fairly quickly.

Through 24 games this season and 16 starts, Brewer has averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Those numbers aren’t bad at all, and his defense throughout his career has been a major plus as well.

From RealGM.com:

"Flip Saunders, after calling Brewer “too valuable to trade” on Nov. 20, publicly acknowledged last week that the Wolves’ many injuries and subsequent struggles to compete in the difficult West have forced Minnesota to concede that the team is shifting from a “retool” mode to a “rebuild.”"

Minnesota is beginning to understand that they need to focus on rebuilding around the young talent that they have, and Brewer is one of their main trade chips. Plenty of teams were interested in acquiring him the first time he was on the block, and those same teams will be interested again. Houston is one team to keep an eye on in particular.

All of that being said, the Timberwolves should be able to get something of value in return for Brewer. He is a talented player with the ability to score and defend at a high level. His game and veteran experience could be very valuable for whoever decides to pull off a trade with Minnesota.
