The Baltimore Ravens’ Twitter account responded to Barack Obama accidentally referring to James Franco as “James Flacco” with a hilarious tweet.

President Barack Obama gave an end-of-the-year press conference on Friday and, in it, addressed Sony Pictures’ decision to shut down James Franco and Seth Rogen’s comedy “The Interview” after hackers’ threat.

However, Obama accidentally referred to Franco as “James Flacco” when he was criticizing Sony’s decision.

"“I think it says something interesting about North Korea that they decided to have the state mount an all-out assault on a movie studio because of a satirical movie starring Seth Rogen and James Flacco. I love Seth and I love James, but the notion that that was a threat to them I think gives you some sense of the kind of regime we’re talking about here.”"

Not surprisingly, this mistake delighted sports fans everywhere, who immediately made the connection the Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

"James Flacco wants Bama. RT @joe_cassin: James Flacco ain’t played nobody. RT @BarrettSallee: Is James Flacco elite?"

But it wasn’t just the fans that got a kick out of it; the Ravens and Flacco tweeted about the matter in a good-natured way as well.

Kudos to the Ravens and Flacco for having a good sense of humor about the mistake.

The Ravens have a big game this Sunday on the road against the Houston Texans. Perhaps Franco will make an appearance now that he doesn’t have a movie to promote.
