The Baylor Bears are pulling out all the tricks on Thursday against the Michigan State Spartans in the Cotton Bowl.

In the first half of the Cotton Bowl so far, it looks as if we might have a shootout on our hands between Michigan State and Baylor. However, getting into a shootout with Baylor is dangerous because of all the weapons they have in their arsenal.

Near the end of the first quarter, they pulled one of the tricks out of the bag to tie the game up with Sparty.

Down 14-7 at the time, Baylor was hurrying up the pace of the offense. After a few short passes, offensive coordinator Kendall Briles whipped this play out of the bag.

Bryce Petty fires it off to Jay Lee, who then found a WIDE open Corey Coleman down the field for a 53-yard score.

Again, that is why you don’t want to get into a shootout with the Bears. All things considered, this play call might actually be tame for their standards.
