As the New Year’s Day college football bowl game action moves along on Thursday, we will be treated to a Citrus Bowl match up pitting the Missouri Tigers against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Missouri comes into this one after a pretty successful season once again. For the second year in a row, head coach Gary Pinkel was able to lead this team to the SEC East title, although they weren’t able to get the full job done once again, losing in Atlanta in convincing fashion to Alabama.

Minnesota comes in after being one of the biggest surprises in the country, as well as the Big Ten. Finishing 8-4 on the year, head coach Jerry Kill really has done wonders with this program.
