It’s officially New Year’s Day, which means that there is a ton of college football bowl game action on your television screen.

We have finally reached the 2015 calendar year, which means that the college football bowl game action will be out in full force on Thursday with some pretty exciting match ups.
This year, though, the New Year’s Day bowl game slate will look a little different, as we welcome in the first ever college football playoff.
For the first time in the game’s stories history, the top four teams in college football will do battle for the national championship. On Thursday, the first two games of the new system will play out live, as we inch closer to crowning a national champion for the 2014 college football system.
In addition to these two amazing games, we will have the other remaining game in the New Year’s Six, the Cotton Bowl, which will feature the Baylor Bears taking on the Michigan State Spartans.
As always, all of the bowl game action on New Year’s Day will be televised, and here is how you can catch it all on your television screen.
