The Buffalo Bills’ have tabbed Frank Reich as the guy they want
After an improved 9-7 season, the Buffalo Bills find themselves in need of a new coach because former head coach Doug Marrone shockingly exercised the out clause in his contract.

Marrone’s out clause from his original contract became legal and valid after the ownership change of the franchise in October. Who could replace Marronewith the Chargers?
It appears San Diego have their sights set on a familiar face, former quarterback and current San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich.
Reich has been coaching offense around the league for quite some time now and has definitely earned his shot at a head coach position. With speculation that Bill Polian is going to return to the Bills organization, it would fall in line with the belief that Reich is the top guy. Reich has coached and played for Polian teams before and has great familiarity with his old boss.
Having a former Bill lead the team could greatly energize a fan base who is longing for more successful seasons like the one they just witnessed. His former teammate, Hall of Fame wide receiver Andre Reed, thinks Reich is the man for the job in Buffalo and believes the fans think so too.
“He’s definitely a viable candidate. I think he would do a great job. Not only would he bring a lot of credibility, but Bills fans would probably — the roof would probably come off if he came in there and became the head coach,” Reed said while appearing on NFL Total Access.
“I’m definitely a proponent of him being the head coach there, if that’s the way and that’s what goes down.”
The Bills are currently amidst their longest playoff drought in the history of the franchise. With many pieces already in place, including a budding defense, who shutdown the likes of Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers in back-to-back weeks, there is opportunity for whoever steps in to lead the team back to another playoff berth.
Reich has shown he can coach an offense, having success with the Chargers this past year, and could perhaps mentor EJ Manuel into being a capable NFL quarterback. The Bills are in need of a quarterback after Kyle Orton announced his retirement this week.
It could be time for an old hero to save the day in Buffalo.
