The Indiana Hoosiers have landed star sophomore running back Jordan Howard, who played last season at UAB.
Jordan Howard was one of the top players that was looking for a new home after the UAB football program shut down, and he has officially found where he will finish his college football career.

The Indiana Hoosiers announced they have landed the star running back, and he will be their replacement for 2015 NFL Draft candidate Tevin Coleman.
This season, Howard racked up 1,587 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 306 carries. That is exactly the type of talent that the Hoosiers needed, and he is going to be a major part of their offense moving forward.
Howard put up a huge 262-yard game on the road against Southern Miss this past season in the final game of the school’s football program.
Obviously it was a tough situation for Howard to go through, but he has found a great new home with the Hoosiers. They are on the rise after a very solid season this year, and Kevin Wilson brought in a good recruiting class. Indiana isn’t going to be a championship contender, but they will likely make a run at a bowl game.

On Howard’s Twitter account, he put up a very nice note about his decision to join the Hoosiers and thanking people for support. Give his post a read.

Having two years of eligibility left is going to help the Hoosiers immensely after losing an NFL caliber running back in Coleman. Coleman was one of the best players that has come through Indiana in quite some time, and losing him is going to leave a hole in their offense.
