Former New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes trolled the New England Patriots on Twitter as they celebrated, reminding them of their Super Bowl losses.

The New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl to face off against the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. It is a record setting sixth appearance for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who will have started more Super Bowls than any other player at his position in NFL history.

So while the Patriots were celebrating and tight end Rob Gronkowski was getting jiggy wit it, former New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes took to Twitter to do a little trolling.

And it was epic.

The Giants, with Tynes, defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Arizona, the home of this year’s Super Bowl as well. That is where the 0-2 in Glendale hashtag comes from.

That win was just one of two times the Giants handed Brady and company a Super Bowl loss. The Giants defeated the Patriots four years later in Super Bowl XLVI, but this one was at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Colts.

He wasn’t the only former Giants player boasting about beating the Patriots recently.

“If it wasn’t for the Giants, I think Brady would go down, no question, as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game,” former Giants defensive end Justin Tuck said, as transcribed by NJ.com’s Nick Powell. “So I’m glad we were able to steal two from him.”
