Report: Johnny Manziel to enter rehab
By Josh Hill
Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will be entering rehab in an effort to conquer his demons.
Say what you will about Johnny Manziel as a football player, but the man behind the facemask is making a move that no one can throw shade at this morning. Manziel, who has been in the public eye since his freshman year at Texas A&M, will be entering rehab in an effort to get his life straight.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Manziel will be entering rehab to try and get his life straight in a move that is more about getting healthier as a person than it has anything to do with football. Manziel’s trip to rehab was confirmed by a family advisor, Brad Beckworth.
"“Brad Beckworth, friend and advisor to Manziel and his family, has confirmed that Johnny entered treatment on Wednesday. Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend. and teammate and he thought the off-season was the right time to take this step. On behalf of Johnny and his family, we’re asking for (the rest of Manziel in treatement)….privacy until he rejoins the team in Cleveland.”"
Manziel secured his image as a frat boy party animal, which didn’t win him over many fans — not that it really hurt the ones he already had. But the path he was on seemed to be a dangerous one, and entering rehab at this early stage in his adult life is important to his growth as a man.
He’s not outwardly admitting he has a problem, but he’s acknowledging that he needs help and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Who knew that in a season where Johnny Manziel was expected to do great things on the field that his best and most important decision would come off the field in a place very far away from football.
