According to Fox Sports Detroit, Jim Harbaugh pulled a woman out of a badly wrecked car, then kept her warm until police and EMS units arrived on the scene on I-94 West in Ann Arbor. Harbaugh and athletic department employee James Minick were passing the scene when they stopped to get out and help.

According to Michigan state police, a Jeep Cherokee lost control on westbound I-94 in Ann Arbor, crossed the median, rolled over and ended up in the eastbound lanes. Harbaugh and Minick helped a 73-year-old woman out of the Jeep that had been very damaged in the accident and also helped the 53-year-old driver who was reportedly partially ejected from the car.

Harbaugh and Minick stayed with the pair waiting for EMS units to arrive, giving them coats to keep them warm in the frigid cold Michigan weather.

The two who suffered injuries were transported to St. Joseph Hospital and both are expected to make full recoveries.

Jim Harbaugh left the NFL and joined his former school as head coach in December 2014 and will coach the University of Michigan football team for at least the next seven years.
