A look at all the action that takes place in the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament between LSU and NC State

Thursday evening the 2015 NCAA Tournament will roll along, and in the East Region we will be treated to a matchup between the No. 8 seed NC State and No. 9 seed LSU in what should maybe be one of the more exciting match ups early on here in the March Madness festivities.

This season in the SEC, LSU showed a lot of flashes of prominence, especially last month when they took on Kentucky at home. There was a chance there down the stretch where it seemed LSU would be the one to hand the Wildcats their first loss of the season, however they weren’t able to hold on in the end. Still, it showed what this team is capable of.

NC State comes into this one with a record of 20-13 on the year and 10-8 in ACC play. They’ll be the ones looking to fend off the mild upset.
