A highschool girl named Sarah Kardonsky of Division Avenue High School in Levittown, New York went all out in asking her friend to the prom. She asked her friend, Michael Pagano, to the prom with the help of several NFL players, according to a story by AP Sports. Several Jets players helped Kardonsky ask Pagano out, including cornerback Antonio Cromartie and running back Bilal Powell. The players appear in a 30 second video individually asking Pagano to go with Kardonsky.

Kardonsky presented the video full of Jets while wearing a No. 24 Darrelle Revis jersey. She naturally also uploaded it to her Facebook page. She presented the video to Pagano in class to the cheers of classmates and of course Pagano said yes.

There’s a little backstory though. Kardonsky said that Pagano had initially asked her first, but she’d declined because she already had a date with another friend. She then felt bad and since the other guy would apparently have no problems finding a date, she decided to ask Pagano to go with her. She wanted to do something special for the request and contacted the Jets players through Instagram.

She got individual videos from the Jets players and edited them together to form the 30 second clip.

AP calls it a touchdown of a proposal, but it’s really more like a touchdown and a two point conversion with maybe a bonus midfield kick.
