Top high school recruit makes amazing pass with his butt (Video)
Ben Simmons, the top high school recruit in the nation, used his backside to pass the basketball in transition.
Ben Simmons is the ranked by ESPN as the best high school recruit in the nation. What he can do with the rock is rare among basketball players and he is still just a senior in high school. But during Montverde’s match up against Findlay Prep at the National high school basketball tournament, Simmons did something pretty crazy.
In transition, he appeared to make a pass off his butt. Not the best strategy, but it ended up working out as one of his teammates ended up finishing.
Montverde would go on to win 57-53, advancing past Findlay Prep in the tournament. Simmons’ 24 points were key in victory and his butt pass gave the fans a little taste of the flash he could be bringing to LSU next year.

Before the National tournament started, Simmons was seen showcasing his skills in the McDonalds All-American game at the United Center in Chicago. Despite being known as the best player there, he didn’t feel the need to force up any shots and distributed the ball like a young Magic Johnson would. He finished with seven points, dished out three assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds.
You can catch Simmons playing at LSU next year. The 6’9 combo guard should help out the Tigers. They lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament this year, but have plenty to be excited about building upon this year and adding Simmons for next.
