Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge ‘gutted’ about loss, but still partying

Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge is gutted about the loss to Arsenal, but isn’t going to let it stop him from going out and partying.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge isn’t happy about his team losing to Arsenal today. He has every right to be upset, Liverpool played poorly and lost 4-1 in a game where they got yet another red card and went a man down.

So Sturridge let the fans know how gutted he was on social media. That is great for any athlete to do and it reaffirms to fans that you care about it as much as they do. Where Sturridge went wrong was mentioning that he was out at a concert, and presumably having a good time.

I mean who has a bad time at a concert unless their girlfriend dragged them to a Justin Bieber show or something.

Nevertheless, Sturridge’s mentioning of his extra curricular activities calls into question the sincerity of his concern and “gutted” feelings.

Wonder if PARTYNEXTDOOR will do a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” That is basically what he is telling that loss to Arsenal and any disgruntled Liverpool fans.

Of course if you had a bad day at work and already bought tickets to a concert, you’d still go to. So Sturridge can have that luxury as well. Talking about it on Twitter is probably not the best idea, but maybe he was spotted by some fans and felt like pictures, videos or other things about him being at a concert would show up in the papers or on social media.

This could be him trying to get ahead of it before it becomes a bigger fiasco.
