Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will reportedly leave rehab next week.
Johnny Manziel has spent more than two months in a rehab facility where he is receiving undisclosed treatment, but Mark Kay Cabot of the Plain-Dealer and Cleveland.com reports the Cleveland Browns quarterback could be discharges as early as next week.

This news comes two days after ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said the team was ready to give up on last year’s second of two first round picks in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Manziel was 0-2 as the starting quarterback late in the season after Brian Hoyer struggled late in the year after a promising start but failed to show the types of plays he made look routine during his two years as the starting quarterback at Texas A&M, including winning the Heisman in 2012.
He had a penchant for the nightlife during his time in College Station, including an arrest for fighting and having a fake ID. His father was even worried that his anger management issues could result in an ugly unraveling. Manziel got to spend some time with his father on the golf course on Saturday, but remains in treatment.
#Browns Manziel is permitted some days out of rehab to spend with family and friends. Likely to be discharged soon, possibly even next week.

Despite the fact #Browns Johnny Manziel played golf w/his dad today per Shreveport Times, he is still believed to be in inpatient rehab.

Manziel’s health and well-being takes precedence over his ability to win the starting quarterback job in Cleveland, and hopefully his time in rehab has helped him be a better son, brother, friend and person.
But there are countless Browns fans who are wondering if they can put their trust in a quarterback who spend the bulk of his offseason in rehab when he could have spent it in the weight room, film room and practice fields to overcome a nightmare of a rookie season.
Browns head coach Mike Pettine and the team has publicly supported Manziel, as you would expect, but will that same support be there after he’s discharged and organized training activities begin on April 20?
The team may be in position to draft a quarterback early in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft at the end of the month and if they do, it would be a telling sign that the team is moving away from Manziel.
They already signed veteran Josh McCown in free agency so even if they don’t draft a quarterback in the first round, the former Heisman winner may be the latest winner to fall prey to the Heisman jinx and have a bust of an NFL career.
Hopefully, Manziel can beat his personal demons and then begin worrying about his professional career and trying to shed the bust label that’s already attached to him after one season.
