Frank Kaminsky says his goodbyes and thanks to Wisconsin over twitter
By Ernie Padaon
Naismith Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky said his goodbye’s to Wisconsin over twitter.
Frank Kaminsky has played his final game with the Wisconsin Badgers after the heartbreaking loss to Duke in the Championship Round. Kaminsky did all that he could do in the game and finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds , 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.
Kaminsky went onto his twitter account to sat his goodbyes and thanked the school.
Also to say his goodbyes, Kaminsky’s roommate Jordan Smith posted this to his twitter and wished him the best during his NBA career. Pretty awesome photo.
Kaminsky is expected to be one of the top draft selections going into the draft. He won the Naismith Player of the Year this season averaging 18.8 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. He has the potential to be a very good player at the NBA level. He has all the skills that teams could want in a big man. He can shoot the ball and has great moves in the post. Just get him on the court and he should find a way to make some good things to happen.
Just look at what he did here:
There has been talk that Kaminsky could slip out of the top 10 in the draft with all the potential talent entering the NBA draft. Duke center Jahliil Okafor and small forward Justice Winslow are a couple of players that could be taken before Kaminsky. Kentucky centers Karl-Anthony Towns and Willie Cauley-Stein, former Prime Prep (Dallas) star Emmanuel Mudiay and Ohio State PG D’Angelo Russell are other players that could be taken before Kaminsky. Other players that could be in the mix to be selected high are former Milwaukee Hamilton star Kevon Looney, Texas PF Myles Turner, Kentucky PF Trey Lyles, Kansas SF Kelly Oubre and Notre Dame PG Jerian Grant.
It would be a mistake for teams to sleep on Kaminsky. There are some very talented players that will be entering into the draft, but Kaminsky has shown some tremendous skills as well. Standing at 7-foot, he can stretch the floor with his shooting ability and would be a tough player to defend again with his ability to handle the ball. He has a good first step and can get to the basket from the perimeter. He also has some really good post moves as well. He is a talent that many teams should be interested in.
