Jimmy Fallon chugs a beer at Yankees game (Video)
Jimmy Fallon chugged a beer on camera during the Yankees game on Thursday evening.
Alex Rodriguez hitting his first home run since returning from a year long suspension wasn’t the only thing going on at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night. Actor and late night television host, Jimmy Fallon chugged a beer after realizing he was on camera while the New York Yankees took on the Toronto Blue Jays.
After a ball rolled toward the backstop, Fallon, who was sitting in the front row, picked up his beer and starting chugging to get a few laughs. I guess comedians really are never off the job. When Jimmy is on camera he is going to do something goofy. Fortunately he had a beer right next to him so he could harness his inner frat star and down one for the boys.
Fallon probably needed something to drink about too. The Yankees trailed just about the whole game and ended up losing 6-3 to the Blue Jays dropping their first series of the season 2-1. Not to mention that the temperature was sub-40 all evening which is hardly baseball weather. So besides the alcohol, it probably wasn’t that enjoyable of an evening in Yankee Stadium.
Hopefully for Jimmy Fallon’s liver, the Yankees can start winning sooner rather than later. The only bright spot of the evening was A-Rod’s home run. But with an aging roster and a reworked Boston Red Sox team, it doesn’t look like the Yankees will be playing much baseball in October this season.
