The Barcelona striker defies the laws of physics again on a free kick goal.

One of the most fearsome sights for Barcelona opponents is seeing Neymar line up for a free kick within striking distance. On Saturday, the Brazilian forward showed why yet again.

Neymar provided another incredible free kick golazo during Barcelona’s contest against Sevilla. The video, courtesy of Ryan Krasnoo of Sports Illustrated:

As seen above, Neymar bends the ball at a ridiculous angle, giving both the wall and Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico no chance. The 30th minute goal gave Barcelona a 2-0 lead after Lionel Messi found the back of the net earlier, and it now leads 2-1 with 10 minutes to go.

The 23-year-old Neymar has risen into stardom over the past few years due to his fantastic skill on goals just like this one. Neymar now has 18 goals in 26 La Liga matches, fourth in the league behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Antoine Griezmann.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique left Neymar out of the lineup Wednesday against Almeria due to rest reasons. Neymar had only scored one goal in his previous nine games prior to Saturday’s screamer.

That scoring drought hasn’t mattered much for Barcelona, which has won 20 out of 21 matches and leads Real Madrid by one point with a game in hand. Barcelona will need the world class attacking trio of Neymar, Messi and Luis Suarez to be in top form to capture the UEFA Champions League crown, with the first leg of a quarterfinal tie against Paris Saint-Germain approaching next Wednesday.
