Penn State Nittany Lions Spring Game 2015 live stream: Watch online
After being declared bowl eligible for the first time since the Sandusky scandal, the Penn State Nittany Lions are breathing new life under James Franklin.
Second-year head coach James Franklin has found himself in a position that he didn’t think would come so soon in his tenure as Penn State Nittany Lions head coach: he’s bowl eligible. This team has the talent and potential to become of the Big Ten’s most underrated contenders and that’s exactly what they are.

Following a 7-6 season that ended in a bowl victory, quarterback Christian Hackenberg joins a solid crew of returning players, including a stingy defense. Don’t forget the fact that Franklin is one of the best recruiters out there and he will prove that during the spring game.
Penn State has a promising young running back in Akeel Lynch who will look to keep his starting job after leading the team in rushing last season. The offense needs a ton of work, but the defense is already solid and looking to get even better.
Hackenberg will team up with his favorite target from last year in soon-to-be sophomore wide out DaeSean Hamilton who caught a team-high 82 passes for 899 yards and two touchdowns. He returns to the receiving corps as one of the best receivers in the conference.
Fans will have a good time watching these two hook up for a couple big plays and maybe even a touchdown or two.
