NASCAR Food City 500: Complete finishing order

A race originally slated for day, ended at night and now there’s a new entry in the chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
Matt Kenseth, the pole sitter, survived delays and cautions all day as he picked up his first victory of the year.
Perhaps Kenseth’s most trying moment was a brief rain delay right before a green-white-checkered. Kenseth outlasted last week’s winner Jimmie Johnson on the final lap and won the Food City 500.
It was Kenseth’s fourth win at Bristol. This one was more sweeter than the rest as Kenseth had been in a losing drought.
Last month, it looked like Kenseth was going to pick up his first win in California, but a broken axle ended his day.
This week, he survived a battlefield and showed true grit as he took the checkered flag and now joins everyone in the chase.

Mercifully, the nine-hour marathon of racing is finally over.
It was definitely the strangest race to date NASCAR has had this year. Kevin Harvick’s streak of dominance is over and somehow miraculously, Jimmie Johnson survived multiple wrecks to finish in second.
The drivers looked exhausted after and will probably be glad they can finally get some rest.
Next week, NASCAR heads to another short track in Richmond. Will a new winner emerge again, or will Harvick rebound and put the track on notice once again?
