The two early games are not involved in the big tournaments tonight, but that still leaves 26 teams in here. There are plenty of choices, but which ones are the best?

Here are my FanDuel hitter picks for April 28:
Catchers:
Best Bet:
Brian McCann, Yankees ($2,800): McCann took today’s starter Jake Odorizzi deep last week. He has tormented Odorizzi during his short career. McCann is 8/13 with a double, triple, two homers and six RBI. He looks like a must-start tonight.
If You’re Cheap:
Alex Avila, Tigers ($2,300): Avila is three for ten with four RBI off of Mike Pelfrey. As long as he is in Detroit’s lineup, he is a solid play in yours.
Outfielders:
Best Bets:
Nelson Cruz, Mariners ($5,000): Cruz has only faced Texas starter Ross Detwiler twice in his career, but he has homered off of him both times. Cruz 2 (well, four actually), Detwiler 0.
Bryce Harper, Nationals ($4,100): Harper is 7/16 with a pair of homers and three RBI off of Julio Teheran. He is one of the few Nats that seems to have figured out Teheran.
Starling Marte, Pirates ($4,000): Marte has hit Travis Wood hard in his career. He is 7/23 with a double, a triple, two walks, two homers, and five RBI off of Wood. He is a good bet to at least get you some points.
If You’re Cheap:
Jay Bruce, Reds ($2,800): Bruce is 12/48 off of Kyle Lohse with three doubles, a triple, a homer, and six RBI. He is a good low-priced option if you find yourself strapped for cash.
Scott Van Slyke Dodgers ($2,500): Fortunately for Madison Bumgarner, Yasiel Puig is on the disabled list. Puig has hit Bum hard throughout his career. Van Slyke is Puig’s replacement, and he has also hit Van Slyke hard, just not quite as hard. He has not driven in a run, but he has five hits and four walks in 16 at bats. That makes him a strong bet for positive points.
Melky Cabrera, White Sox ($2,300): Melky is hitting .318 with a homer and five RBI off of Chris Tillman. With the way Tillman has pitched so far this year, most of the White Sox look like strong bets tonight.

First Base:
Best Bets:
Anthony Rizzo, Cubs ($4,200): Rizzo is 4-13 with two walks, two doubles, a homer and two RBI off of Pirates starter Jeff Locke. He is a strong play once again.
Prince Fielder, Rangers ($3,300): Defying the lefty-lefty matchup, Fielder has feasted off of Mariners starter J.A. Happ. Fielder is 8/22 with four doubles and five RBI in his career. He has never taken him deep, but it’s bound to happen sometime with that kind of success off of him.
If You’re Cheap:
Adam LaRoche, White Sox ($2,700): LaRoche has hit Ubaldo Jimenez well. Then again, so has most of the White Sox roster. They are career .284 hitters off of him in 155 at bats. LaRoche himself is 7/20 with three doubles, five walks, a homer, and four RBI. He is a strong play if you spend big on a pitcher.
Second Base:
Best Bet:
Neil Walker, Pirates ($3,200): Walker is 7/20 off of Travis Wood with two doubles, two walks, and homer, and three RBI. He might be a better choice than the more expensive options.
If You’re Cheap:
Eric Sogard, Athletics ($2,200): I know. You’re all wondering if I’ve lost my mind. Recommending a utility guy like Sogard against Jered Weaver. The numbers are there to back me up though. Sogard is 9/27 off of Weaver. He has only one extra base hit (a double) and hasn’t driven in a run, but if you need the money, he is a good bet for positive points.
Rickie Weeks, Mariners ($2,200): Weeks is 3/10 off of Detwiler with a double, a walk, a homer, and two RBI. He could get you more points than Sogard if you need another cheap option. Sogard has a slight better track record though.
Shortstop:
Best Bet:
Adeiny Hechavarria, Marlins ($3,200): Hechavarria has a hit in nine of his last ten games, and owns 40.5 fantasy points in that span. He is on fire right now, and gets to face Rafael Montero, who is having some trouble in his first stint in the majors.
If You’re Cheap:
Erick Aybar, Angels ($2,200): Aybar is 5/17 off of Oakland starter Sonny Gray with a walk, a double, and four RBI. Those are not great numbers, but they are when you consider his price.
Third Base:
Best Bet:
Todd Frazier, Reds ($3,500): Frazier has pounded the Brewers. In four games against them this season, he has a total of 29 fantasy points. Look for more of the same tonight. They just can’t keep this guy off base!
If You’re Cheap:
Aramis Ramirez, Brewers ($2,400): Yes, his best years are behind him, but Aramis has always hit Johnny Cueto well. He is 17/48 with six walks, four doubles, five homers, and 11 RBI off of Cueto. Forget his stats so far this year. This could be a good source of points.
Juan Uribe, Dodgers ($2,400): Uribe is one of the few Dodgers that has managed to hit well off of Madison Bumgarner. Uribe is 10/33 with a homer, a double, a walk, and three RBI off of MadBum if you don’t trust Aramis because of his age.
