13 of the 15 MLB games tonight are eligible for the big tournaments. That gives us 26 starting pitchers to choose from. Who are the best options? Let’s take a look!

Here are my FanDuel pitcher picks for April 28:
High Priced Options ($8,000 and over):
Best Bet:
Johnny Cueto, Reds ($10,400): Cueto dominated the Brewers his last time out, racking up 19 FanDuel points in the process. He gets the Brewers and Kyle Lohse again tonight. Expect more of the same results. That makes him a great option.
Honorable Mention:
Michael Wacha, Cardinals ($8,400): Wacha has been impressive in the early going. He has a 1.33 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. Which means very little in FanDuel. What it does mean is that he is not giving up runs. Now he is going against an offense in the Phillies that is having trouble scoring runs. This could be a huge night for Wacha.
Dark Horse:
Tyson Ross Padres ($8,400): Ross has struck out 28 batters in just 22.2 innings pitched. That is significant because the Astros strike out A LOT. Ross has had trouble going deep into games, but there is a great chance that he could rack up a lot of points via strikeout, and he has a great chance to get a win against Houston and Roberto Hernandez.
Stay Away:
Madison Bumgarner, Giants ($9,400): MadBum has had a rough start to 2015. His best start of the season came in his last outing, which was also against the Dodgers. The bad part is that he still only managed 10.33 FanDuel points. He has to face Clayton Kershaw again, which doesn’t bode well for him getting the win. There are many better options in this price range.
Next: How Do The Mid-Range Options Look?
Apr 22, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Archie Bradley (25) pitches against the Texas Rangers at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports
Mid-Range Options ($6,100-$7,900):
Best Bet:
Archie Bradley, Diamondbacks ($7,000): The rookie has been as good as advertised so far this year. The Rockies have a solid offense, but it’s hard to bet against a guy that has a 1.45 ERA and 0.97 WHIP.
Honorable Mention:
J.A. Happ, Mariners ($6,900): Happ is off to a good start and he has done well against Texas in his career. He has held current Rangers hitters to a .233 batting average. He only had eight points against Texas in his first meeting against them this year, but Texas is counting with Ross Detwiler, who is sporting a 10.95 ERA this year. That looks really good for Happ.
Stay Away:
Kyle Lohse, Brewers ($6,300): Lohse earned a win against the Reds is last time out, but it wasn’t against Johnny Cueto. It was by far his best start of the season. Lohse had a 10.34 ERA going into that contest. Lightning won’t strike twice. Stay far away from Cueto here.
Next: Who Is The Best Cheap Option?
Apr 23, 2015; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Miami Marlins starting pitcher David Phelps (41) pitches against the Philadelphia Phillies during the first inning at Citizens Bank Park. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
Cheap Options ($6,000 and under):
Best Bet:
David Phelps, Marlins ($6,000): Phelps looked good against the Mets in his first start of the year, and dominant last week against the Phillies. His rematch against the Mets looks promising if you are looking for a really cheap option.
Honorable Mention:
Rafael Montero, Mets ($5,800): This is mostly based on hype. Montero is not the most highly touted pitcher in the Mets system – that would be Noah Syndergaard – but that speaks more to Syndergaard’s talent than the Mets’ lack of prospects. Montero has been solid out of the bullpen so far, but struggled as a starter at AAA. Use at your own risk.
Stay Away:
Mike Pelfrey, Twins ($5,800): Pelfrey was outstanding against the Royals last week, but I wouldn’t trust him against Detroit tonight. Anibal Sanchez is going to give up very little to the Twins offense. Even if Pelfrey does manage to pitch well, the chances of him getting a win are pretty slim.
Stay tuned to Fantasy CPR for all of you DFS lineup needs!
