There are four games early in the day on Wednesday, which significantly shrinks the player pool. Who are the best options? We will check it out!

Here are my early FanDuel lineups for April 29. We will start with the battery:
Pitchers:
Best Bet:
Jeff Samardzija, White Sox ($9,000): Sammy has done well against the Orioles in the few times that he has faced them. Opposing starter Ubaldo Jimenez has been torched by the Sox in his career. Add to the fact that it will be eerily quiet in the ghost town that will be Camden Yards, and you take away the home field advantage. Then you just go with the best pitcher, which would be Samardzija.
Honorable Mention:
Michael Pineda, Yankees ($8,600): Pineda has done not done all that well against the Rays, so why is he on the list? The Rays have had issues scoring runs. Drew Smyly has done well against the Yankees, but I doubt he goes deep into the game as he is likely still on a pitch count. That gives Pineda and the Yankees a great chance to score the win.
Catchers:
Best Bet:
Victor Martinez, Tigers ($3,600): Day games after night games are popular times to rest starting catchers, so make sure you check the lineups to make sure. That is a large part of the reason that V-Mart is here. He is 7/27 with two doubles and two RBI off of Phil Hughes, but he is guaranteed to start.
If You’re Cheap:
Tyler Flowers, White Sox ($2,200): Flowers is 4/14 with three doubles and five RBI off of Ubaldo Jimenez. He is also a strong bet to be in the lineup since the first two games of the series couldn’t be played because of the Baltimore riots. Flowers looks like a really good play today.
Next: Let's Check Out The Infield
Apr 23, 2015; Toronto, Ontario, CAN; Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado hits a three-run home run in the ninth inning against Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The Jays won 7-6. Mandatory Credit: Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports
First Base:
Best Bet:
Miguel Cabrera, Tigers ($4,900): If everyone does their research (or reads mine), Miggy should be 100% owned because he has owned Phil Hughes over his career. Miggy is 16/34 with four doubles, five homers, and 12 RBI off of Hughes. You have to find a way to get him in your lineup if you want to make some money.
If You’re Cheap:
Adam LaRoche, White Sox ($2,700): LaRoche has hit Ubaldo Jimenez well. Then again, so has most of the White Sox roster. They are career .284 hitters off of him in 155 at bats. LaRoche himself is 7/20 with three doubles, five walks, a homer, and four RBI. He is a strong play if you spend big elsewhere.
Second Base:
Best Bet:
Brian Dozier, Twins ($2,900): Shane Greene was punished against Cleveland his last time out. If Minnesota is going to have the same success, it will be Dozier leading the way!
If You’re Cheap:
Brandon Phillips, Reds ($2,300): Phillips is 6/23 with a double, four walks, and three RBI. He hasn’t exactly hit him hard, but he is a good bet for positive points.
Shortstop:
Best Bet:
Jose Iglesias, Tigers ($2,700): Iglesias is 2/6 off of Phil Hughes in his career. There are either small sample sizes or struggling hitters against the starting pitchers at shortstop for the afternoon contest. Iglesias is one of the best options.
If You’re Cheap:
Didi Gregorius, Yankees ($2,200): Gregorious has a modest four game hitting streak going. Drew Smyly is not easy to hit off of, but Gregorious is a good bet to at least get on base.
Third Base:
Best Bet:
Manny Machado, Orioles ($3,200): Machado only has three career at bats against Jeff Samardzija, but he took him deep in one of those. He was 2/3 in that game against Samardzija, so Machado seems like a good bet this afternoon.
If You’re Cheap:
Conor Gillaspie, White Sox ($2,200): Gillaspie has hit Ubaldo hard in his career. He has five hits, two walks, a double, and an RBI against Jimenez, and is a great bet for cheap points this afternoon.
Next: Let's Scout The OF
Apr 28, 2015; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Detroit Tigers left fielder Yoenis Cespedes (52) hits a RBI double in the fourth inning against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. Mandatory Credit: Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports
Outfield:
Best Bets:
Billy Hamilton, Reds ($3,700): Hamilton has had some issues getting on base, but when he does, he has been a terror. He is leading the majors in steals, and is a strong bet to get one when he gets on base. That could happen a couple of times against Garza.
Yoenis Cespedes, Tigers ($3,200): Cespedes is 5/10 with two doubles, a triple, a homer, a RBI, and a walk off of Phil Hughes. Start him!
Jay Bruce, Reds ($3,100): Bruce is hitting .360 with three doubles, two homers, and six RBI off of Matt Garza. Bruce also has 14.5 FanDuel points in two games since the Reds gave him the day off. He is rejuvenated, and hits Garza hard anyway. He is a great bet this afternoon.
If You’re Cheap:
Gerardo Parra, Brewers ($2,500): Carlos Gomez has torched Mike Leake in his career. Luckily for the Brewers, Parra isn’t that far behind. Parra is 6-16 with a walk, a double, a homer and three RBI off of Leake. Not bad for “option B.”
Adam Eaton, White Sox ($2,300): Eaton is three for four with a triple and an RBI off of Ubaldo Jimenez. He is a good bet for cheap points today.
