The Buffalo Bills have six picks in the 2015 draft. Here is the list.

The big news in Buffalo this offseason was the odd resignation of head coach Doug Marrone, who used an unknown (to most) stipulation in his contract to leave for what he assumed to be greener pastures, only no NFL franchise bit.

Rex Ryan—fired on “Black Monday” by the New York Jets after a six-year run as head coach in The Big Apple. That move was a bit odd to many given that Ryan’s greatest struggles in New York were to find a way to get his offense going, though his defense always overachieved.

He inherits a similar situation in Buffalo, where the defense has been quite good for going on two years. The offense, however, has never really found a rhythm since the Fun ‘N Gun offensive days of Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Andre Rison, under the leadership of Marv Levy.

Sure there have been rays of light, but the darkness surrounding the offense has never truly dissipated. The offense will be a major question under Ryan as well, though the team traded away its first-round pick a year ago, as well as this year’s, along with this year’s fourth-round pick to obtain Sammy Watkins with the fourth overall pick.

Watkins had a nice rookie season, but he figures to be one of the few weapons the Bills have at their disposal in 2015. Then again they were able to bring in LeSean “Shady” McCoy to run the football, as they hope a dynamic back.

But ultimately the Bills—like Ryan’s Jets before—need to figure out the quarterback position. And without a first-round pick, headed into Thursday, doing so will be difficult.
